CELEBRATING 100 YEARS OF HEALTH SERVICE AT UGA

The University of Georgia Health Center celebrates 100 years of service in August, 2017
In 1917, the Crawford W. Long Infirmary opened with one doctor and one patient room. Over the decades the health center has grown to accommodate the ever-growing UGA student population. The health center now is a 111,000 square foot state-of-the-art facility that hosts 13 clinics with a robust health and wellness mission.
In celebrating this marquee moment in UGA history the health center will kick off with a 100-year celebration on Friday, August 18th. Any member of the UGA community served that day by one of our clinics will receive a momentous dog-bone treat and be entered into a raffle to win 1 of 3 prizes:
