What led you to become a therapist?

I enjoy helping people transform pain into empowerment.

What keeps you motivated to continue your career?

Seeing clients improve and reach their goals.

Do you have a specialty or niche clientele?

I enjoy working with all students and issues, but I am most passionate about working with African-American Women on trauma and spirituality.

This field can be taxing on professionals. How do you preserve your own health and well-being?

I love hanging out with my family and watching Harry Potter! I also believe that travel, music, and friendship make life better.

What are you happiest doing when you’re not working?

Entertaining.

What do you like most about UGA and the surrounding community?

Athens has some amazing restaurants. I am a huge fan of The Last Resort and Home.made.
