Proper storage of prescription medications
- Store them in a cool & dry environment. Some medications need to be stored in a refrigerator so check the label for the appropriate temperature to store the medication.
- Keep them in the original packaging or bottle.
- Theft or abuse of prescription medications can be a serious problem. Keep prescription medications out of sight in a lockbox, safe, or other secure place.
