Dawgs Study RX Safe
Research consistently shows that misusing or abusing prescription medications does not translate into higher grades or improved academic performance.
To do well in school:
- Know the syllabus
- Review the text and other readings before class so that the lecture makes more sense
- Go to class, turn off any distractions, listen, and take notes
- Review your notes daily to reinforce what you learned in class
- Start studying well in advance of the test
- Visit the instructor during office hours
- Use a UGA tutor for difficult subjects
- Employ active learning techniques, not passive techniques
- Join a study group
- Go to the UGA Office of Academic Enhancement for additional support and strategies for academic success
